Sarah takes a holistic, compassionate approach to therapy, supporting the whole person in their healing and growth. She provides a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and met with care as they work through life’s challenges.
Sarah works with women navigating trauma, intimate partner violence, grief, stress, and depression. She understands that the impact of these experiences can linger, and she supports clients in processing, healing, and rebuilding at a pace that feels safe and respectful. She also works with individuals and couples facing cross-cultural challenges, drawing from both her personal and professional experience.
Born in Canada and married cross-culturally, Sarah spent 13 years working overseas with refugees. During this time, she walked alongside individuals and families experiencing culture shock, the stresses of language learning, cultural adaptation, as well as trauma and grief. This experience continues to shape her deeply compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
In her work with couples, Sarah uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples move out of disconnection and toward greater emotional safety, understanding, and connection.
Faith and psychotherapy can be integrated for clients who find it meaningful to their healing and growth.
Sarah brings a steady presence, compassionate listening, and a safe space where people feel genuinely understood and supported.
She considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they heal, grow, and rediscover hope.
